For the past several months, we've been working with Defined Learning to develop a new and greatly enhanced content delivery platform for schools. It is called Defined STEM.
The Defined STEM platform not only provides Futures Channel movies and downloadable lessons to teachers, it also provides a wide range of new features teachers have asked for including state standard correlations, in-depth curriculum connections and the ability to share utilization ideas with other educators around the world. All of which is aimed at providing you with an even richer classroom experience.
This new technology platform, Defined STEM, will be replacing the Online School Edition, so your account will be switched over to this new service.
In consideration for moving over to Defined STEM, we’ll extend your current subscription to August 30, 2010, no matter when you originally subscribed. While you familiarize yourself with Defined STEM, you are welcome to access the Online School Edition. We have extended this access for those subscribers who did not receive earlier notices.
Here are the steps for making the transition:
1. Go to this link:
http://www.definedstem.com2. Enter the same username you had for the Online School Edition
3. Enter "STEM" as your password
4. Click "enter"
5. From there, you can change your password and any other profile preferences
**Please note that if you paid for your Online School Edition subscription through Paypal, we have removed the recurring payment option from your account so that you will not be charged in the future. As a result, you may receive an email notice in the coming day from Paypal. Although it may notify you that your account has been cancelled, your subscription will continue to be active until the September 31st deadline.
